Anyone for brownies?

I like to let my kids lick the bowl but it is always such a mess!!! You almost always have to go straight to the tub. Washing off the hands just won't cut it.

I found it! Yea!!

My Camera is LOST!

I can't find my camera. I fear Michael got it and threw it in the trash. It's been missing since Sunday. OH NO. What will I do without a camera? Here are some old pictures of me for a good laugh this rainy Wednesday!

Snaggle Tooth Matte

Yesterday Michael broke one of his caps. It had been over a year since he got them and I thought that was pretty good considering how active he is. I had just changed his diaper and he wanted to get in his crib, which he never sleeps in so it is kind of a novelty and all that. Well, I left him to go wash my hands and he apparently didn't like being left alone. He was trying to get out and came down on the side of the crib on his mouth and there went the tooth. We called and dentist and got him right in. They were so terrific, fixed it in no time AND there was no charge! Yea! I just knew it would be hundreds of dollars. Thank you Dr. Wendy!! It was kind of funny because I had him in this plaid shirt and overalls and when he broke his tooth he was a real sight! Hey, no Kentucky comments please!

Big Six

Last night Paul and I went out to celebrate our sixth anniversary. The actual date is the 11th but we have a busy weekend coming up and couldn't find a day closer to go out. Our friends Martha and Wesley kept the kids which was a real blessing! We went to a cajun place called Furlongs in Lexington. The owner was there and turned out he was from a town in Louisiana that is about 20 miles from where Paul grew up. The guy had family in Paul's hometown and when he couldn't remember their names he got his mother on the phone to ask her. Paul ended up chatting with the mom and he did know the people from Oberlin. The food was really great. Paul had the catfish Bourre and I had shrimp and grits. We shared a bread pudding for dessert!
