Fun in the Snow

Mallory sang two solos in Christmas programs this past week.


The church had a talent show and chili cook-off last Sunday night.
She sang 'Happy Birthday Jesus' that evening.

Then on Thursday she sang 'Christmas Is...' during the First Grade Christmas Program at the school.

We're sure proud of our girl!

iPad help

Opa bought a new iPad when he was here for Thanksgiving. Michael spent some time teaching him a few things about it. I think these pictures are so sweet.

I made these cupcakes for our class the week we were studying the letter R. You might have seen them on Pinterest. They were soooo easy and super cute.

Preschool Thanksgiving Feast

We took the preschool classes over to the family life center of the church for a Thanksgiving Feast last week. There are four classes of 15 and ten staff in the preschool so we fed 70. The teachers prepared the meal for the kids. I made striped jello squares for the kids' dessert and a pumpkin cake for the big people. The church is right next door to the school so we just walked over. I love all the classic pilgrim and Indian stuff associated with school kids and Thanksgiving.

These are the little guys I get to work with every day. They are so much fun.

Michael, bottom right, is in a different class but it's fun to be a part of things like this with him.
