All Star Sports

I never posted any pix of our fun hotel when we were at Disney. We stayed at the All Star Sports Disney resort which we just loved. The theming was so fun. I didn't get a lot of photos but it was really neat. We loved being able to take the buses to the parks every day. That was the best part of staying at a Disney hotel. We would just walk out and get on a bus and get off at the park. Then when we were exhausted at the end of the day we just got on the bus and rode home. Nice. I'd say it's worth the extra money you might spend staying at one of their hotels. We'd do it all over again. The downside? The coffee is really bad.

Johnny Appleseed Day

I made these treats for Michael's class this week for Johnny Appleseed Day. They were super easy and turned out pretty cute I thought. You take a marshmallow and dip it in water. Then sprinkle it with sparkly sugar, stick a pretzel in and add a leaf. I had some green fondant so that worked perfectly.

More from Sea World

We sat in the soak zone and really did get wet. The kids loved that part! I couldn't help but think of the trainer who was killed by one of these orcas a couple of years ago so I didn't enjoy the show like I did when I was first at Sea World years ago. The trainers didn't get in the water but were very close to the whales as you can see in the pictures.

Sea World

We took a day when we were in Orlando to go to Sea World. The kids weren't that in to it unfortunately. Their favorite part was petting the sting rays!

Hollywood Studios

Here are a few pictures from our day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It used to be called MGM and hadn't changed a whole lot since I was there with the Auburn crew way back in the early 90s. Especially the Backlot Tour. It was just the way I remembered it when I was there with my great Uncle GG, Memette, Aunt Carole, cousins, etc when we travelled down for an Auburn bowl game!
