No Turkey for Perky...Michael's turn

The Kindergarten class at the kids' school did the Thanksgiving mini-musical "No Turkey for Perky". Michael was Perky and did a great job. Mallory was in this same play as a kindergartener two years ago in Frankfort. She played Hazelbelle Hanks who is the owner of Perky:) Here is a little clip of her singing her solo.

My mother and Lothar were here to see the production which was performed at the church. Our school doesn't have an auditorium so we have welcome them to use our sanctuary anytime since we are right next door. The kids all did a great job!

Pick Your Pumpkin

All the girls picked a pumpkin from the patch at Mallory's party. I had encouraged them to get smallish ones but they all wanted a big one! I told them they had to be able to carry it themselves!

Country Christmas

This unique display is at a house on the road that leads to our house. I think it's pretty cute actually!

A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

These pictures are from Mallory's birthday party at the pumpkin patch. We had nine girls running around Begg's Family Farm in Blodgett MO. It was a nice sunny day but pretty cold. I've always loved pumpkin patch pictures!

Spend a While on the Nile

I never posted any pictures from the kids' musical we did during VBS this past summer. Mallory and Michael both had solos and did just great. We practiced each night of VBS and then performed the musical on the Sunday night following. It was really a big hit!
