Merry Christmas from our little Angels

The kids' ministry did the Fear Not Factor musical last Sunday night. Mallory and Michael both had solos and did a great job.
We've been here a little over a year and the kids have already been in three musicals at the church. I appreciate the children's workers so much!

Annual Ornament Painting

I always try to buy a bunch of the wooden paintable ornaments that Jo Ann's sells after Christmas. They are really cheap to start, only 1.19, so when they are trying to clear them out they are just pennies. The kids and their friends, Emmy and Lyndi, love to paint them so I just let them have at it. Most have a place in the middle for a photo. They are among my favorite ornaments on our tree from year to year!
 

 

 

 

 

Sunday Morning Photo Shoots

I always try to take the kids' picture on Sunday mornings in December when they are dressed in their Christmas duds. It was so warm earlier in the month that Michael actually wore shorts one Sunday!

Santa 2012

We got the kids' 'official' Santa photo at the mall in Cape Girardeau a couple of weeks ago. As we were heading back to EP I was talking to Mother and told her where we had been and that we had gotten the kids' picture taken, etc. Then I thought, "where are those pictures?" Sure enough they weren't in the van. I had left them at the mall. Paul turned around (not happy) and headed back to the mall. In the mean time I called Justice, the only store I had been in and sure enough they had the pictures! I had left them there while getting a little gift for Mal! Yea!

Santa and The Grinch

Santa and the Grinch were at a local farm equipment business this past Friday so I took the kids and their friends, Emmy and Lyndi, after school. It was decorated really cute and the kids got a nice toy. 

 

 

 

Classroom Sweetness

Michael's class performed a few skits and songs for family the week before Thanksgiving. My dad happened to be here so got to be there for the program. It was a real treat since my parents are rarely in town for any of the kids' school events. Michael was the narrarator for one of the skits. He did a great job!
