Birthday Breakfast

We went to Waffle House yesterday for Michael's birthday. He loves that place and we don't have one near us now. The kids sat at the counter while Mother, Lothar and I sat in a nearby booth. I always think of June when I go to Waffle House. We went there on her last trip to KY with my dad and her parents. She loved whipped cream on her waffle:)

Second Cousins

My Aunt Carole came over tonight for burgers and brought her granddaughter AnnaBelle. AB, as we affectionately call her, is my first cousin Sonya's daughter. This makes AB my first cousin once removed and my kids' second cousin. At least that's how we all understand it:) Mallory and Michael has a fun time swimming with their big second cousin. We told Michael AnnaBelle was his second cousin and he asked, "who's my first cousin?" Cute:)
