Paul had been showing the kids the Mississippi Squirrel Revival song by Ray Stevens on YouTube this week. This morning we had a little time to kill before church so I showed them The Streak. I used to love that song when I was a kid. Michael and Mallory watched it a few times and I told them what streaking was and how people used to do it a lot in the 70s. Flash forward to the children's sermon this morning during the worship service. All the kids are spread across the front of the sanctuary and Mr. John is talking to them about putting God before playing and TV. At that point Michael says, "uh, Mr. John, we've been watching songs on our computer and this morning we watched The Streak song." It was too funny!
