Happy Birthday to...

Today is the birthday of two friends of our family. The big guy in the first picture his John. The little guy in the second picture is Joseph. Their two moms are friends of mine who have told me they actually look at this blog so I wanted to send a little shout out to them on this special day!

The Frankfort Trolley

Frankfort has this new trolley that runs about a 40 minute route thru downtown and some outlying tourist spots. My friend Susan and I and our kids rode it last week and had a good time. Best of all...it's FREE!

Paul took Mallory out on a little lunch date last week. Mallory wanted to get all dressed up for her date. Paul wore his Mallory's Daddy shirt, sweet. I wanted to get a picture of the happy couple before they headed out but Michael kept wanting to get in the photos! Where did they go? He took her to Dairy Queen:)

Circus Circus

We went to a free (for kids) family circus last week. It was a mom and pop outfit out of Florida called Circus Pages. All the snacks were really cheap which made it fun. Cotton Candy and popcorn were only two bucks each, peanuts were a dollar, bottled water two bucks. The little circus coloring book was a dollar. I get so nervous watching those trapeze acts and dancers high up on the ropes, etc. They had this globe of death with two motorcycle riders zipping around in there, criss crossing every which a way with a girl standing in the middle. I literally looked the other way and told Mal to tell me when it was over. Give me the hula hoop girl with her 75 hoops and I'm happy. We saw our friend John from the church there. The kids fed the elephants peanuts at the end. Fun time.

Bubbles gone bad

It was all fun and games until Sissy and the swing hit the bubbles.
