The kids received a very special recorded version of the Twas the Night Before Christmas from my dad this year. He has always read it to them but couldn't be here this year so recorded himself reading it so they would still get to hear him:) I hope we can have it forever. After the book we always read the Christmas story from the book of Luke in the Bible. Then Mallory set up Santa's goodies. She wanted to do a buffet of treats from some of the things we had been given during the week. She wrote a sweet little note too. These times are so precious.
