The Drive In

We went to the drive in for the first time as a family this past weekend. It was so much fun and so family friendly. The doors open at 630 so we got there in time to set up, get something to eat and let the kids play. The only downside of the whole drive in thing is the movie doesn't start til dark which around here is 930ish. But it was still a very enjoyable evening and I hope we can go back soon. We didn't stay for the second feature. Those people must get out after 1:00 in the morning! There are three drive ins in the vicinity of our town so I hope to try them all eventually. As a kid I remember going to see The Song of the South at the drive in near Montgomery Mall and playing on the swings right up next to the screen. It was fun then and still is!
