Saturday I took Mallory to her first grown up tea at the Orlando Brown House in Frankfort. Orlando Brown was the son of John Brown, the first US senator from Kentucky. They do these teas during the month of February always with a special theme using characters from way back in the 1830's when the house was built (for a mere $5000.00). This one was a supposed bridal tea for one of the Brown daughters. We joined our friends Martha (it was her birthday!), Yvonne and Yvonne's grandaughter, Caroline. The tea was very nice and Mallory really enjoyed mixing up her own tea to the tune of three or four sugars per cup!
