Backyard Camping

For the last four years we have camped out at our annual church camp out in a borrowed tent. We always have enjoyed sleeping outside...the one night a year we have done it. So, we decided to buy our own tent and try to camp more often than once a year. To break in the tent we set it up in the backyard. The kids have had a great time playing in the tent, we've had a picnic or two and have spent one night out there. We froze. So until we get either an electric heater or some electric blankets or it warms up next Spring we won't be camping overnight again. So many people here in our area camp with their families. It's really big here. I was never married with children when I lived in Alabama so I don't know if it's as popular there but we all really love it. We have two queen sized mattresses set up in our tent so it's not really that rough out there!
